Hi!
A while ago I moved my blog from Blogger to WordPress. And since I’m blogging from 2007, there are a lot of blogposts to check… So if you see a blogpost that’s missing photo’s or has a weird layout, please let me know by leaving a comment at that particular blogpost. In the meantime I’m walking through all my posts myself too.
I hope you like my new layout! Thanks for visiting.
See you around!
XO Iris
Hi!
XO Iris

Iittala X Issey Miyake home collection
IIttala presented their newest home collection in collaboration with Issey Miyake. Fashion and Design go very well together, in my opinion. It has so many connections and overlaps.
In a few days, it’s valentines day. And what goes better with love than food? Especially when it’s cooked with love and for or by someone you love.
Cooking
I’m a huge book lover. Not only interior and design books, [ take a look here and here and here for some interior book reviews ] but also of cookbooks. The funny thing is: I don’t cook! My husband does. And very well too! I’m lucky, I know, although I also see a lot of men are cooking lately. I think it’s more and more becoming a trend that men cook.
Kitchen Trend : Man Cave
In that light: I think the kitchen is also more and more becoming a men thing too! Like the post I read on FB: Is the kitchen the new a man cave. YES! I think so! This means a whole other approach to the kitchen design in general. Think of materials, kitchen suppliances, routing….
When looking for interior inspiration, I always stop by at Line Klein Studio. Line Klein is an editorial and commercial photographer based in Copenhagen, Denmark. She makes the most beautiful pictures of interior, lifestyle and food. Today, I share some of her photo’s of a beautiful, minimal and monochrome home. Hope you love it as much as I do.
It’s no secret I’m a huge fan of the CitizenM hotels. I’ve stayed at quite a few, in the past years. So I was thrilled that last October I could stay at the CitizenM London donated by MODENUS during the London Design week.
Are you making plans for your home for the new year to come? Then I have a wonderful book tip for you. That is if you like to create a minimalistic, dramatic, eclectic or chic interior, with just the colors black, white and grey shades. I know I do. If you do too, then this book Monochrome Home by Brooklin-based interior stylist Hilary Robertson is a must-read.
