What’s so special about the Modenus BlogtourKBIS is that you visit places that are so inspiring!

Like The New American Home 2016. Build in the foothills of Las Vegas’ Henderson Nevada, with the newest innovative technology, functionality, materials and design, The New American Home 2016 had sustainability highest on the list. And they succeeded. If you like to get all the info and details about that, you can find all the information at the website of The New American Home. I can only be very happy with the choice of this topic. We all have to think about how we can be more aware of sustainability and green living. So, with this project and such a stunning house, It’s very clear it can be done!

Dreamhouse

We as the BlogtourKBIS group got the chance to see and “feel” the home ourselves. The house has a big open living area, 4 bedrooms and 4,5 baths. Most of the rooms have big glass windows with spectacular views over Las Vegas. Most of the windows open like big sliding doors to the outdoor spaces. The house mixes inside and outside very natural. You feel the flow when walking through the building. You can say, this is a real dream house….

contemporary materials

With the use of beautiful and matching materials, like the bathroom tiles, flooring, wallcoverings and furniture that is very neutral and basic colorwise, they created a home that is not too trendy so that it ages quickly. And that’s a good thing if you think of sustainability. By adding or changing personal items and accessories, you change the whole look and feel. Element Design Build designed the New American Home as a contemporary, multi-generational “desert elegance home.”

Thermador kitchen

In the New American Home the kitchen is open and integrated into the living area, for the ultimate entertaining cooking experience. And there is an outdoor kitchen as well. Actually, almost every room has a personal mini-kitchen area. BlogtourKBIS sponsor Thermador implemented all the kitchen appliances for cooking, built-in coffee machines, ovens, steam ovens, refrigerating, wine cooling and cleaning appliances such as the dishwashers throughout the whole building. This extraordinary and luxurious house has been fitted with every conceivable comfort.

Personally, I was blown away by their patented Star Burner. This Star shape isn’t just for show. Never seen anything like this!

Wat zo speciaal is aan de Modenus BlogtourKBIS is dat je op hele bijzondere en inspirerende plekken komt!

Zoals The New American Home 2016. Gebouwd in een buitenwijk van Las Vegas: Henderson Nevada, en met de nieuwste innovatieve technologie, functionaliteit, materialen en design. The New American Home 2016 had duurzaamheid hoog op de lijst staan. En dat is gelukt. Als je daar alles over wilt weten, verwijs ik je graag naar de website van The New American Home, waar alle info en de details over de bouw en duurzaamheid te vinden is.  Ik kan alleen maar erg zijn blij met deze keuze. We hebben allemaal de taak om na te denken over hoe we meer milieubewust, duurzaam en groen wonen en bouwen. En: met dit project en een echt prachtig huis, is heel duidelijk dat dat kan!

Droomhuis

Wij, als BlogtourKBIS groep, kreeg de kans om het huis ook in het echt te zien en beleven. Het huis heeft een grote open woonkamer, 4 slaapkamers en 4,5 badkamers. De meeste kamers hebben grote ramen met een spectaculair uitzicht over Las Vegas. Het merendeel van de ramen open als grote schuifdeuren naar de buitenruimtes. Het huis mengt binnen en buiten heel natuurlijk. Je voelt de flow, als je door het gebouw loopt. Heel natuurlijk stromen alle ruimtens in elkaar over. Echt een droomhuis.

Moderne materialen

Door het gebruik van mooie en bij elkaar passende materialen, zoals de badkamer tegels, vloeren, wandbekleding en het meubilair, dat is zeer neutraal en basic van kleur is, creëerden ze een huis dat is niet te trendy is, dat het snel veroudert. Het is juist best tijdloos. En dat is een goede zaak als je denkt vanuit duurzaamheid. Door het toevoegen of wijzigen van persoonlijke spullen en accessoires, kun de je gehele look & feel veranderen. Element Design Build ontwierp de New American Home als een hedendaags en voor meerder generaties geschikt “desert elegance” thuis.”

THERMADOR keukens

In de New American Home, is de keuken open en geïntegreerd in de woonkamer, voor de ultieme entertaining kookervaring. En er is ook buitenkeuken. Bijna elke kamer heeft wel een eigen mini-keuken. BlogtourKBIS sponsor  Thermador geïmplementeerde alle keukenapparatuur voor koken, de ingebouwde koffiemachines, de ovens, de stoomovens, de wijn koeling en apparaten zoals vaatwassers door het gehele gebouw. Persoonlijk heb ik was ik helemaal verrast door hun gepatenteerde Star Burner. De vorm van de ster is niet alleen voor de show. Ik heb nog nooit zoiets gezien!

“De Star Burner creëert een 56% langer omtrek met vlamopeningen, dan een ronde brander van dezelfde grootte. Het resultaat is een brander met superieure vlamverspreiding en minder koude plekken, voor een snellere en meer gelijkmatige verwarming over elk formaat pan.” Zoals Thermador verklaart.

100 Jaar Thermador

Ik denk dat je kunt zeggen dat Thermador echt begrijpt wat de wensen van de hedendaagse en toekomstige thuiskoks en gast vrouwen en mannen zijn. Met een 100 jarig bestaan dit jaar, heeft Thermador de kennis en ervaring in huis, maar ook de mogelijkheid om te groeien en te zich te plaatsen in de toekomst. De producten van Thermador zijn wat je zoekt, bij het ontwerpen van je keuken.
