I saw this new interior gem, the Botanic Storage unit by Kristina Dam Studio,
 at Maison et Objet Paris 2015  
I love this new approach to store and style your greens.
Plants are a must-have in your interior. The urban jungle is a hot topic!
Besides that plants look good in your home, they are also very healthy and relaxing according to a lot of research. 
Christina Dam designed this multifunctional styling item, and as a graphic design she also made some beautiful prints and sculptures.

Ik zag dit nieuwe interieur juweeltje, een botanische storage unit van Kristina Dam Studio,
  bij Maison et Objet 2015 in Parijs.

Leuk, deze nieuwe presentatie en styling van planten.
Planten zijn een must-have in je interieur. De Urban Jungle is een hot topic!
Naast dat planten er gewoon mooi uitzien in een interieur, ze zijn volgens onderzoek ook eens heel gezond en zorgen ze voor ontspanning.


Christina Dam ontwierp dit multifunctionele styling item 
en als grafisch ontwerp maakte ze ook een aantal prachtige prints en sculpturen.

Last summer the Playing Circle organised “The Loft” in Amsterdam  for the first time. It was a real gem. This time they did it again… Other location, other items, other furniture and accessories but again: a gem!  What a great concept to show how one can live, in this extraordinary space. Afgelopen zomer organiseerde The Playing Circle  ” The Loft” voor de eerste keer. Het was een echt juweeltje.  Deze keer is het weer raak …  Andere locatie, andere items, andere meubels en accessoires,  maar: weer een juweeltje! Wat een geweldig concept om in deze buitengewoon mooie ruimte te laten zien hoe je kunt wonen. En het leuke is: alles is te koop Kijk zelf maar. En ga ook echt even life kijken in Amsterdam!  Dat kan tot en met 4 januari 2015 Op de website: Enter the Loft

First or Second store verkoopt nieuwe en vintage design items, zoals de naam en tekens al vertellen, in een zeer inspirerende omgeving. Als je in de buurt van Alkmaar,  ga er dan zeker even langs, je zult er geen spijt van krijgen.

These April and May Girls nailed it! This in September renewed interior design shop is styled and designed by April and May. They sell new design and vintage items and that really works well together.

I visited First or Second concept store during the Bloggerslunch organised by Sandra Meier of Accessorize your Home and Femke + Eddy Ditmars of Hééérlijk. I enjoyed this wonderful Scandinavian lunch and the companie of fellow bloggers.

April and May’s Jantine and Vivian showed us around the store.
It’ s a nice open, industrial and light space where besides the nice furniture the styling is very inspiring.

Pictures speak more than a thousand words,
So take a look at the photo’s I’ve made to get an impression.

De April and May girls hebben het geflikt! De in september vernieuwde interieur design winkel is Gestyled en ontworpen door April and May. Ze verkopen nieuw design en vintage items en dat werkt erg goed samen.


Ik bezocht First or Second concept store voor de Bloggerslunch organiseert door Sandra Meier van Accessorize your Home en Femke + Eddy Ditmars van  Hééérlijk.  Ik heb genoten van deze mooie en smakelijke Scandinavische lunch en van de collega-bloggers.


April and May’s Jantine en Vivian showden ons de winkel.
Het is een mooi open, industriële en lichte ruimte waar naast de mooie meubels de styling ook heel inspirerend is. 


Beelden zeggen meer dan duizend woorden,
Dus neem een kijkje hierboven bij de foto’s die ik heb gemaakt om een indruk te krijgen van deze prachtige winkel.


Blijf ook nog een beetje rondhangen hier op mijn blog, want dit is pas de eerste verdieping!

Urban Xmas shopping at Westwing | Christmas

Urban Christmas at Westwing

Would you like to decorate your home  
in a in a little less traditional X-mas style?
Then try the Urban X-mas trend. Westwing selected several trends 
for this year and the 5th trend is Urban Christmas. 
Well… that’s my favourite!
I kinda like decoration with a wink like these acorn Christmas hangers and the ceramic folded “paper” bird.  Not the typical Christmas decoration, but they do very well in an Urban Christmas home.  
But when you add the blue and white gradient plates and pillow together with a reindeer rug, the copper and blue wine glasses, copper lamp and wooden tree hanger, you instantly add luxury, personality AND a Christmas feeling in a more industrial or minimalistic home [which I adore]. 
It all combines really well.
I selected some of my favourite items at Westwing.
Take a quick look if you like some, 
because Westwing only sells the items for a short period of time.

URBAN X-MAS


Wil jij je huis ook een niet traditionele kerst sfeer stylen?

Probeer dan de URBAN X-mas trend.

Westwing geselecteerde verschillende trends 
voor dit jaar en de 5e trend is Urban Christmas.

Nou… dat is mijn favoriet!

Decoratie en styling met een knipoog kan ik wel waarderen!
Zoals deze eikel kerstboom hangers 
en de keramische vogel van “gevouwen papier”. 
Niet de meest typische kerstdecoratie,
 maar ze doen heel goed in een “Urban home”. 

Maar wanneer je de blauwe en witte degrade borden en kussen samen met een Rendier tapijt gaat toevoegen. Plus de koper blauwe wijnglazen, de koperen lamp toevoegt en nog de houten boom hangers, dan creëer je direct een Urban kerstsfeer. 


Je voegt persoonlijkheid en luxe en toe aan bv een meer minimalistisch of industrieel huis.
Wonderlijk wel combineert dat allemaal echt goed.

Ik heb een aantal van mijn favoriete items van  Westwing geselecteerd.
Neem snel een kijkje want Westwing verkoopt alle artikelen maar voor een korte tijd.
