Tijdens Inside design 2013 ben ik eindelijk weer eens bij Droog geweest.  Ook om de inspirerende lezing van 
Studio Attenzione  | Studio Aandacht te volgen. 
Inmiddels heeft Droog ook een Drooghotel.
Ik zou daar graag een keer logeren!
Het is een prachtig gebouw en er is heel veel Design te zien.
During Inside design 2013 I finally had the time again
to visit Droog. And also
to attend the inspiring lecture from 
Studio Attenzione 
| Studio
Aandacht.
By now Droog also has a Drooghotel.
I would love to stay there some time!
It is a beautiful building, filled with lots of Design.

Tijdelijk was er een dependance van de Parijse Concept store Merci gevestigd. Leuk om te zien , maar ik moet zeggen dat het echt niet te vergelijken is met het echte Merci in Parijs.

There was a temporary dependance of the Paris Concept store Merci. Nice to see, but I
have to say that it does not compare to the real Merci
in Parijs.

Bij Droog was een speciale expo van Pepe Heykoop te zien. De ontwerpen van deze designer spreken mij erg aan. Hij timmert flink aan de weg. Lees ook mijn eerdere post hier. 

At Droog there was a special exhibition of Pepe Heykoop.
The works of this designer really appeal to me.

My personal favorites? 
De leren lamp [niet op foto, zie site ] de klok [eerste foto] de kapstok [in het midden] en de paper vase cover [zie site]
Van Pepe gaan we nog veel zien!

We will be seeing a lot from Pepe in the future!

Soms zag ik nieuwe vormen, soms nieuwe kleuren, soms voor binnen en buiten door elkaar en:
ze komen niet alleen! De lampen hangen of staan met hele families bij elkaar.

Some have new shapes, others new colors, some are for in and outdoors, but overall: they come in families! Almost all the lighting objects are hanging or standing in a group.

Heb je de site van Vitra onlangs bekenen? Hij is helemaal vernieuwd en aangevuld met het nieuwste van het nieuwste.
Wat heeft Vitra gedaan? Eigenlijk niet zo veel nieuws qua nieuwe ontwerpen, het zijn meer aanvullingen op of familie van, zoals de Oursin pouf van Hellla Jongerius en de Alcove Plume van de broertjes Bouroullec. 
Maar qua kleur daarentegen: Fantastisch! Hella Jongerius, kleurexpert puur-sang, heeft de Vitra collectie compleet doorgelopen en het lijkt wel alsof alles nieuw is.

Did you get a look at the site of Vitra recently? It’s completely redesigned with the very latest news.
What has Vitra done? Actually not so very much news in terms of new designs, there have been added new family members to the collection, such as the footstool Oursin by Hellla Jongerius and the Alcove Plume of the Bouroullec brothers.
But in terms of color : Fantastic! Hella Jongerius, color expert of the Vitra collection, went through the complete and it seems like everything is magically new.

Hier zie je goed wat kleur een grote invloed heeft op de uitstraling van je interieur. 
Vitra heeft van de stand op de Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milaan een prachtig concept neer gezet en daarvan ook een mooi verslag met veel beeld op de site. 
Ik kan niet stoppen met kijken….

Here you can see that color has a big impact on the look of your interior.
Vitra made a huge impression at the Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milan 2013 A beautiful   color and design concept.

MOOOI | Salone del Mobile 2013 | presentatie 360 panorama |

Moooi 
moet je echt gezien hebben op de beurs in Milaan Salone del Mobile 2013!
Erwin Olaf heeft een flinke vinger in de pap gehad bij het creëren van dit concept. Het is wat mij betreft een van de moooiste stands die ik in lange tijd (virtueel) gezien heb.


You should really have seen them at the fair in Milan Salone del Mobile 2013!
Erwin Olaf has also had a big influence in creating this concept. It is in my opinion one of the stands that I moooost admire since a long time.


De beursstand van Vitra afgelopen beurs in Milaan 2012 en op de beurs in Keulen 2013 wat ook erg mooi, maar dit spreekt mij persoonlijk wel bijzonder aan.

De ontwerpers van MOOOI, waaronder oa Marcel Wanders, Edwart van Vliet, Kiki van Eijk, Studio Job enz., mijn liefde voor de fotografie van Erwin Olaf en de stijl van de Hollandse meesters [ zoals bv het meisje met de parel van Vermeer en dan nog het liefst met een knipoog], komen in deze presentatie allemaal samen.


The exhibition stand of Vitra at last years designfair in Milan in 2012 and at the fair in Cologne in 2013, was also very nice, but this one from MOOOI speaks to me very personally.
The designers of MOOOI, including Marcel Wanders, Edwart van Vliet, Kiki van Eijk, Studio Job, etc., plus my love for the photography of Erwin Olaf and the style of the paintings from the Dutch masters [like “the Girl with a pearl earring” by Vermeer],come in this presentation all together.

Er wordt veel over de presentatie van MOOOI geschreven en gesproken.
Volgens mij zijn zij, samen met Studio Job for Lensvelt waar ik eerder over schreef, de meest besproken designers | merken van Salone Del Mobile 2013 op het gebied van Dutch Design!!

 Kijk zelf hier op de site van MOOOI waar je een 360 panorama view kunt zien. Ben je er toch / weer een beetje bij geweest!

There’s lots of talking and writing going on about the presentation of MOOOI.
I think, along with Studio Job for Lensvelt, they are the most talked designers | brands of Salone del Mobile 2013 in the field of Dutch Design!
