A while ago I moved my blog from Blogger to WordPress. And since I’m blogging from 2007, there are a lot of blogposts to check… So if you see a blogpost that’s missing photo’s or has a weird layout, please let me know by leaving a comment at that particular blogpost. In the meantime I’m walking through all my posts myself too.

En aangezien ik sinds 2007 blog, zijn er een heleboel blogposts te controleren … Dus: zie je een blogpost waarbij foto’s ontbreken of die een rare lay-out heeft, laat het me weten dmv het plaatsen van een reactie op die blogpost. In de tussentijd loop ik al mijn berichten zelf ook nog na.

Milan is always my favorite trip of the year to spot the new interior trends. Last trip I made a selection of all the pictures and worked on a presentation together with Pure Styling. This resulted in a very inspiring documentation of color, material, form and dessins.

Interieur trends voor 2023 + 2024 spotted in Milaan
Milaan is altijd mijn favoriete design trip van het jaar om de nieuwe interieur trends te spotten. Afgelopen jaar heb ik een selectie gemaakt uit alle foto’s en samen met Pure Styling aan een presentatie gewerkt. Dit resulteerde in een zeer inspirerende documentatie van kleur, materiaal, vorm en dessins.

This year my intention was to visit the Dutch Design week at least for 4 days… But I ended up just having the space and time for 1,5 day…. way to little time ofcourse.
I stilI managed to get to some very interesting designspots. I made an area | event plannig upfront. But unfortunatly missed a few great spots due to the 2,5 day less time I had. The great news is that there is a lot of inmormation to fond at the DDW webisite: www.ddw.nl/en
Dit jaar was het mijn bedoeling om de Dutch Design week 4 dagen te bezoeken … Maar ik had maar 1,5 dag de ruimte en tijd …. veel te weinig natuurlijk.
Toch slaagde ik erin om een aantal zeer interessante designers en events te bezoeken. Ik had vooraf een indeling per dag op locatie, maar helaas heb ik daardoor nu wel vanwege de 2,5 dag minder tijd een paar geweldige plekken gemist. Het goede nieuws is dat er veel informatie te vinden is op de DDW-website: www.ddw.nl
Ik deel op insta vooral de interieur, kleur en materiaal inspiratie. Maar de algemene trend en het onderwerp van de Dutch Design Week was duurzaamheid.
Er is geen planeet B …..
Ik was blij te zien dat dit onderwerp nu door bijna alle ontwerpers en veel merken wordt behandeld.

Date + Time: Tuesday 7 may 2019: Welcome and walk in with coffee, tea from 19.00 hrs. The presentation starts at 20.00 hrs. After the presentation we have drinks, time to network and talk some more about trends, Milan, design and interior.

• Trend presentation completed with a set of printed trend-cards € 50,-
• Trend presentation and a digital summary, completed with a set of printed trend-cards € 75,-
• Trend presentation as a digital summary by mail € 50,-

Last January I was invited by the NKBA Global Connect program to visit visited the Living Kitchen show that is biannual with IMM Cologne, the interior and furniture design fair held in Cologne. I finally found the time to write these 2 posts. For part 1 see over here.
Besides the material and color trend, I wrote about in blogpost part 1, I also spotted a few interesting kitchen cabinets and tech trends that I’ll show you below.
As said: The fair was very crowdy, so I apologize upfront for the not always so beautiful pictures taken with my “old” iPhone, but nevertheless, I definitely wanted to share these insights I spotted at the show with you.

Kasten + Tech
Afgelopen januari bezocht ik de Living Kitchen-show die tweejaarlijks tegelijkertijd met IMM Cologne, de beurs voor interieur- en meubelontwerp in Keulen is. Ik heb eindelijk de tijd gevonden om deze 2 berichten te schrijven. Zie voor deel 1 hier.
Naast de materiaal- en kleurentrends die ik heb gezien en gedeeld in blogpost deel 1, heb ik ook een paar interessante keukenkastjes en technische trends gespot die ik hieronder laat zien.
Zoals gezegd: de beurs was erg druk, dus ik bied bij voorbaad mijn excuses aan voor de niet altijd zo mooie foto’s die ik heb gemaakt met mijn “oude” iPhone, maar toch wilde ik zeker deze trends delen die ik met jullie die ik op de show heb gezien.
